This is a powerful air cleaner that uses G4 and H7 filters. HEPA H7 filter can effectively collect pollen. This air cleaner is designed to clean the air in a large room during allergy seasons.

You need to select a fan depending on the characteristics of the filter. Filters differ in air flow and also in creating a certain resistance to flow. When they become soiled, resistance increases. The centrifugal fan is powerful enough to create the necessary air flow, even when using a filter with maximum performance. I made a mistake when choosing a fan. Its power is not regulated. It either works (very noisy),or does not work. The fan is located in the case and creates traction, which causes the air flow to pass through the filter.

The fan is mounted inside the case, which is made of 5 mm laser-cut plywood. Since the fan itself is heavy, and a strong base is needed to fix the filter, the lower part of the case is reinforced with wooden elements. They were cut the same length, but did not go perfectly tight. I used wood putty to fill the voids and sealing the system.

Since I used foam material to dampen the vibrations of the fan, it was difficult to immediately determine the position of the outlet. I cut it myself with a drill. Not very neat, but it will not be visible.

In any places where the fan touches something, foam was used to isolate the noise. Given the heaviness of the fan, it was necessary to mount it on two surfaces.The laser-cut frame will be used for the exit hole. Bolts go outside. I did this because I made a noise isolator for the outlet, and protruding bolts would help in fixing it.

In order for the low-pressure chamber to be filled with air only through a filter, I used wood putty to seal it. Cord output is another weak point. I drilled a hole smaller than necessary for the wire diameter, and slightly increased it with a needle file. So it was more and more accurate.

I glued the electrical box on the back of the case. Since the fan is not adjustable, I set the simple switch to two positions.So that in case of overheating air circulation occurs, I drilled several holes in the box on the sides, which is not the best option.

The H7 filter is fixed in a wooden frame that attaches to the reinforcing elements of the body, which gives additional strength to the whole structure. To better seal the filter, a sealing rubber was placed between it and the frame, which is usually used in windows and doorways. The last filter element is simply inserted inside. Thanks to the exact dimensions, it is still inside. To close the case with a laser, a more or less elegant lattice was cut. It creates a sufficiently strong resistance to air, so the structure must be securely fastened.
